This Privacy Policy explains how NotiClean ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") accesses, processes, stores, uses, and shares information when you use the NotiClean Android application.

Important summary: NotiClean's core notification cleaning features operate primarily on your device. The App uses Android Notification Access to analyze notifications so it can block or dismiss notifications based on your settings. Notification analysis, blocked app rules, spam keyword rules, and recent blocked history are intended to stay on-device and are not sent to our own servers for the App's core functionality.

Google Play compliance note: this Privacy Policy is only one part of compliance. If the App accesses personal or sensitive data in ways that may not be obvious to users, Google Play may also require an in-app prominent disclosure and user action before access is enabled.

1. Information the App Accesses or Processes

1.1 Notification data processed on your device

If you enable Android Notification Access for NotiClean, the App may access notification information posted to your device, including:

the sending app package name and app label,
notification title, text, subtext, big text, or similar notification content exposed by Android,
the time the notification was posted,
metadata required to dismiss or manage matching notifications on your device.

Notification content may include personal or sensitive information depending on the other apps you use. NotiClean accesses this information solely to provide notification filtering, spam keyword matching, app-based blocking, local history, and related notification management features.

We do not operate our own backend to upload, store, sell, or share your notification content for the App's core functionality.

1.2 Installed app inventory

The App may access information about installed apps on your device so you can:

view the apps installed on the device,
choose which sender apps should be blocked or protected,
open Android system notification settings for a selected app.

Installed app inventory is used for App functionality only. We do not use installed app inventory for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

1.3 Local settings and local history

To make the App work correctly, NotiClean may store the following locally on your device:

blocked app package list,
custom spam keywords,
notification scan and block counters,
recent blocked notification history,
language and theme settings,
ad consent state managed by Google where applicable.

Recent blocked history is stored locally and is currently limited by the App's local storage rules. As of this Policy date, the App keeps a short recent history rather than an unlimited archive.

1.4 Advertising and consent-related data processed by Google services

The App may use Google AdMob to display ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage consent in supported regions. These Google services may collect or process data such as:

Google Advertising ID, App Set ID, and related device or account identifiers,
IP address and approximate location inferred from IP,
device model, operating system, language, and app/device technical details,
ad impressions, clicks, ad performance, and fraud-prevention signals,
consent choices and consent status.

This data is processed by Google and its partners in accordance with Google's policies and settings, not by a separate NotiClean backend controlled by us.

2. Permissions and Special Access

Notification Access / Notification Listener Service: used to read and manage notifications on your device after you manually enable this access in Android system settings.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: used so the App can show installed apps for notification management and app-selection features.
Internet: used for ad loading, consent messages, and related Google service communications.

The App does not currently require account registration and does not request your contacts, photos, videos, microphone, camera, or precise location for its current core functionality.

3. How We Use Information

We use accessed or processed information only for the following purposes:

to detect, match, dismiss, or block notifications based on your selected rules,
to display and manage your blocked apps, spam keywords, and recent blocked history,
to open Android notification settings for selected apps when you request it,
to remember your local preferences such as language and theme mode,
to show ads, manage ad consent, and support fraud prevention through Google advertising services,
to comply with applicable law, platform requirements, and legitimate security or abuse-prevention needs.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal or sensitive data.

We do not share your notification content or installed app inventory with our own remote servers for the App's core notification cleaning features.

Data may be shared or processed in the following limited ways:

with Google AdMob and Google UMP for ads, consent handling, and fraud prevention,
when required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid government request,
to protect the rights, safety, integrity, or security of the App, our users, or third parties.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Local NotiClean data such as blocked apps, spam keywords, local counters, local recent history, and appearance settings remain on your device until you remove them in the App, clear app storage, or uninstall the App.

If you want to delete locally stored App data, you can:

remove individual rules within the App,
clear app storage in Android system settings, or
uninstall the App.

Data processed by Google advertising or consent services is retained according to Google's own policies, systems, and retention schedules.

6. Security

We use reasonable measures to reduce unnecessary exposure of user data. The App's core notification filtering logic is designed to operate on-device. Where data is transmitted by third-party services such as Google AdMob or UMP, those services state that data is encrypted in transit using secure protocols such as TLS.

However, no method of storage, transmission, or security control is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

NotiClean is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our own backend for the App's core functionality. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in violation of applicable law, please contact us.

8. International Processing

If third-party providers such as Google process data for ads or consent management, that processing may occur on systems located outside your country of residence, subject to the provider's own privacy, security, and legal compliance framework.
