This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with Google Play Developer Policies. It applies to all information collected through our mobile application, and/or any related services.

1. Android Permissions We Request & Why

To provide network diagnostic features (such as measuring 5G/4G signal strength and cell tower metrics), the App requires specific Android OS permissions. Below is the explicit list of permissions requested and their purpose:

• Location Permissions (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION):
  Why we need it: The Android Operating System requires Location permissions to access Telephony APIs (such as reading Cell ID, EARFCN, PCI, TAC, and Signal Strength/dBm).
  How it is used: This data is strictly used in real-time to display the Telephony Dashboard on your screen.
  Data Handling: We DO NOT track your physical location. We DO NOT send your location data or cell tower data to any external servers. The data remains entirely local on your device.
• Phone State Permission (READ_PHONE_STATE):
  Why we need it: Required to read SIM card information (such as Carrier Name, MCC, MNC, and SIM status) to show dual-SIM telemetry.
  Data Handling: We do not read your phone numbers, call logs, or contacts. This data is only used locally to identify network operators.
• Notification Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):
  Why we need it: Used to display a persistent background notification (Foreground Service) so the app can continue monitoring your signal strength (dBm) without being killed by the Android system.
• Internet & Network State (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE):
  Why we need it: Used for the in-app Ping & DNS testing tools (Network Diagnostics) and to serve advertisements via Google AdMob.

2. Data Collection and Third-Party Services

While the App itself does not collect personal data, we use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, device type, and Advertising ID to serve personalized ads and combat fraud. This data is handled by Google in accordance with their privacy policies.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Because we do not collect or store any of your personal data or location data on our servers, there is no data to retain or delete. If you wish to stop all background processing, you can simply uninstall the application from your device.

4. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us with necessary device permissions, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Because our app requires advanced device permissions, we advise that it is intended for general audiences interested in network telemetry.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
