Your privacy is important to us. It is Privacy Vault App Lock's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our application.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We do NOT collect, store, or share any personal information. Your photos, videos, files, and app lock passwords/PINs are stored locally on your device using encryption. We do not have access to your vault content or your passwords.

Device Permissions

To provide our services, we may request certain permissions on your device:

• Storage/Media Access: Required to import and export photos, videos, and files to/from the vault.
• Usage Access: Required to detect when a locked app is launched so we can show the lock screen.
• Query All Packages: Required to list installed applications for you to choose which ones to lock (Android 11+).
• Camera (Intruder Selfie): Required to take a photo of anyone entering the wrong password (if enabled). These photos are stored locally.
• Fingerprint/Biometric: Required to allow unlocking the app with your fingerprint.

2. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics and advertising. These services may collect anonymous data to help us improve the app and show relevant ads.

• AdMob (Google): Used to display advertisements. Google AdMob Privacy Policy.

3. Data Security

We take security seriously. All vaulted files are encrypted using AES-256 encryption. Your PIN/Password is hashed and stored securely. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
