This Privacy Policy explains how longtv ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the HEIC AVIF Toolbox mobile application (the "App").

Important summary: the App works with images you select and creates converted JPG or PNG copies on your device. The App does not require an account and does not operate its own server for the core image conversion workflow. The App uses Google Mobile Ads and related Google services, which may process device, advertising, diagnostics, consent, or usage data according to their own policies.

1. What The App Does

HEIC AVIF Toolbox helps you convert supported HEIC, AVIF, and WEBP image files into JPG or PNG copies on Android. You can select one image or multiple images, choose the output format where available, adjust JPG quality, preview the latest converted image, open or share the converted image, and view recent conversion history.

2. Files And Data You Select

The App works with images you select through Android file picker flows. When you select an image, the App may read basic file information such as file name, MIME type, and file size so it can show the selected file and prepare conversion.

The App decodes selected images using Android image APIs and creates new output copies. It does not intentionally modify the original selected images.

3. Processing And Storage

Single-image conversion can save JPG or PNG output.
Batch conversion currently saves JPG output using the current quality setting.
On Android 10 and newer, converted files are saved to Pictures/HEIC AVIF Toolbox.
The App stores recent conversion history locally on your device using SharedPreferences.
Local history may include output URI, output file name, output format, file size, creation time, and saved location text.

We do not upload your selected images or local conversion history to our own server for the App's current core conversion workflow.

4. Sharing And Opening Converted Files

If you choose to open or share a converted image, Android may send the selected converted file to another app that you choose, such as a gallery, file viewer, messaging app, email app, or cloud storage app. That action is controlled by your selection and the receiving app's own privacy practices.

5. Permissions

Internet: used to load ads and related Google services.

The App uses Android system picker and MediaStore flows for user-selected images and saved output files. The current manifest does not request contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, notification, or account permissions.

6. Ads, Consent, And Third-Party SDKs

The App may show ads, including banner ads and interstitial ads. The App includes Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) for ads and consent management where applicable.

Google and its partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device information, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and consent choices according to their own policies and applicable law.

7. Analytics, Crash Reporting, Billing, And Accounts

The current App does not require an account login and does not include our own standalone user account backend. The current App does not include app-specific billing, subscription, or purchase flows. If analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, account, billing, or new data processing features are added later, this Privacy Policy should be updated.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your selected images. Data may be shared or processed in the following cases:

When you choose to share or open a converted image with another app.
When Google Mobile Ads or related Google services process data for ads, consent, diagnostics, fraud prevention, or SDK functionality.
When required to comply with applicable law or protect the App and its users.

9. Your Choices

You can choose which images to open in the App.
You can delete converted files from your device using your gallery or file manager.
You can manage ad personalization through your Android or Google account settings.
You can uninstall the App to remove app-local settings and local history stored by the App.

10. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own server for the App's core conversion workflow.

11. Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, permissions, SDKs, ads, storage, sharing, or data handling behavior changes. The updated version will include a new last updated date.
